Type of Event / Fundraiser: Valentine’s Day Posters

How Does It Work: People purchase posters for $1.00 each from sponsors. Stores or businesses (sponsors) then put the posters on
display.

Items Needed: Pink paper, printer, poster document (download at www.cdhfundraisers.org)

Media Needed: Possibly, to raise awareness

What is Tax Deductible: All purchases are tax deductible if a receipt is given or the customer pays with a check to have record of purchase.

How Do I Set A Date: Late January to February 14th works best.

Who Can Participate: Any business willing to post posters. Any customer who wants to buy a poster for $1.00 each.

Do I Need Permission: Check with location or place of business to see if they will sell the posters.

How Do I Advertise: Flyers/posters around town, include churches and clubs, grocery store/restaurant bulletin boards, place of employment.

What I Do I After The Event: Collect money from poster sales. Send CHERUBS a record of purchases, donations and the final amount raised. Please leave location of sale as you found it.

What Else Do I Need To Do: Take photos for CHERUBS newsletter and web site.
